Divya Delhi: The accident-prone private bus owned by Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon's New Deep Transports company had 35 passengers. The bus was in route to Amritsar from Muktsar and was crossing a bridge near Shahi Haveli when disaster struck. Police stated it was a head-on crash. The bus hit the vehicle, smashed through the bridge rails, and plummeted into the drain. The crash may have been caused by both cars speeding. An inquiry is ongoing. Two patients may need severed arms and have been sent to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Amritsar. Faridkot hospitals have taken in the other injured. After the accident, locals dived into the drain to help the injured, and police soon joined, sources claimed. New Deep Transports has had two such incidents. a private bus plunged into the Lasara sewer in Bathinda, killing nine passengers and wounding over 20 more. In another instance last September, a New Deep Transports bus plunged into a Muktsar canal, killing eight and wounding over 30.
