On July 19, 2025, Barn Cafe at Food Square, Bandra and OOO Farms host AKSHAT, a cultural showcase of India's indigenous rice varietals. Following OOO Farms' conservation of over 3,100 native rice varieties, the event will showcase 50+ uncommon folk rice varieties, including white, red, black, medicinal, and aromatic grains. Expert discussions on rice biodiversity and traditional knowledge, OOO Farms' indigenous seed bank, and five native rice-based cuisines will be featured. Woodside Inn's landmark Beer & Burger Festival turns 18 in July with the theme "Coming of Age: Growing Up in Mumbai." This year's festival celebrates the city's charm and the moments that mold its people as it enters adulthood.
